Initial ideas, with pro's and con's

Lucy's Idea: A young stalker boy who would kidnap girls; he would entice them to meet him by using a social networking site by posing as a handsome man. She wanted a news report of the mysterious disappearances of the girls in the film. The boy would attack the girls once they had met him.

  • Pro's:

  • Many conventions shown and challenged

  • young characters (audience relation)

  • viable (real life situation)

  • Con's:

  • Some location issues

Sarah's idea: Two teen brothers, one is a camera fanatic and takes photos of everything with a polaroid camera. One of the brothers was a womaniser and took many girls out but something was not quit right. The older brother would turn up in his bed unaware how he got there. Strange flash back would happen to him where he would know what was going on. The girls he were meeting are all strangely going missing once he has been out with them; when the plot comes clear it turn out that the older brother has been mutating in to a werewolf. His younger brother was to take a photo of him and drop the camera in shock and the photograph would reveal the twist.

  • Pro's:

  • conventional short twist

  • many conventions shown for genre

  • interesting revelation

  • Con's:

  • some difficult camerawork

  • props hard to get

  • One scene hard to receate

My idea:I wanted a young loner boy to be having dinner with his family once the camera had shown him walking home alone so the audience could establish the boy's lonely.I also wanted a news report like in Lucy's idea; I wanted the news report to be giving information about young girls being murdered in odd circumstances; as well as a detailed in look to what he would wear to commit the crimes. The boy would then go into his room alone and dress in the attire described on the news.

  • Pro's:

  • Challenges some conventions as well as displays them

  • interesting twist at the end

  • Con's:Perhaps too short

  • elaborate on twist to make it more interesting

  • plot may not be clear
